Message from Pastor Teresa ~ I have the privilege and great honor of serving our children and teaching them about Jesus and the Word of God at The Refuge Church. I believe that we are raising up the end-time generation who will usher in the Kingdom of God and bring in a great harvest. My role is to train and equip the children to walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit, to learn to love the Lord with all of their heart, to reflect Jesus through their lives, and to live in the Word. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Our children’s ministry is mirrored to that of Jesus in that His heart is turned towards the little ones. He places great value on them and loves spending time with them, and so do we here at The Refuge Church. Each week we plan exciting and fun ways to present biblical and spiritual truths that relate to their everyday lives. From storytelling, skits, crafts, and activities, we nurture young hearts and minds so they can grow to love and share God’s Word. From the moment they check-in, our prayer is that they not only are ministered to but they go out and minister to others! It is our priority that the children of our community have a safe and welcoming place to worship the Lord. We hope you visit us and we are looking forward to meeting you and your family.
